Prestatyn Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Chris Morrell has agreed to take the position of First Team Manager.
Chris Morrell replaces Matty Roberts who left the club 3 weeks ago and steps up from already being at the club in a coaching capacity.
Prestatyn Town Football Club Chairman James Benbow has made it clear Chris was his first choice candidate from the get go:
"It's great to have Chris on board in what is a new chapter for the club.
Despite not advertising, we were inundated with applicants from all levels of the Welsh, English and even Irish pyramid, but we think Chris is the perfect fit for us.
He has done a great job already with players currently at the club and managed to get a few new targets over the line before the transfer window closed.
His passion and enthusiasm to take over at Prestatyn Town shone through and could easily be seen during Towns recent 6-2 win. His coaching ability is second to non as well as his tactical insight and opponent analysis.
It's been a tough few weeks since the departure of our ex-manager who was with us for the second half of last season, but all we can do now is look forward and give Chris our backing from the stands.
